Stoughton High School Girl Senior Portraits - Class of 2020 - Black Knights Marching Band Saxophone player

I had the honor and the privilege of photographing the most amazing Stoughton high school senior girl Nia class of 2020. Her senior session took place at Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate Located at 2468 Washington St Canton MA. Nia is an active member of the band at the school and Plays the Saxophone at her high school, Stoughton High School in Stoughton MA. As a South Shore Senior and Family Photographer, I encourage you to prepare for your senior portraits by considering some of the things you enjoy doing your daily routine and what matters to you the most.

I met with Nia, her mother and her younger sister for a consultation session where we hushed out all the details of the session and planned everything from her outfit to what to feature during the session. While talking I discovered that Nia is actively involved in sports and the band at her school. She's a member of the Stoughton High School marching band Black Knights. Because she is highly involved with the band and other sports in the school her session was scheduled for a Tuesday after school.

Nia decided on a pair of Jeans, a Purple plum like-colored shirt and a beautiful pair of boots. She had her hair done and with minimal makeup since she prefers a natural look. I generally encourage clients to get their hair and makeup is done professionally, however, it's more important for someone to feel comfortable rather than self-conscious of how they look so the best look is the look you feel most comfortable in and the best you feel.

On the day of the portrait session Nia was accompanied by her mother and she had planned on having her Saxophone with her for the senior session however the instrument was in need of a tune-up in between performances, therefore, she decided to be the main and only focus of her Senior Portrait Session. Nonetheless, we had the most amazing and memorable time.

Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate in Canton is one of Nia's most favorite place to be and Fall is one of her favorite seasons of the year being late October the foliage was at Peak and that made for a beautiful setting. It conveniently located between Randolph, Canton, Stoughton, and Milton its convenient to the highway and it's right off the highway. The Bradley Estate also happens to be one of my top five favorite locations to photograph families and seniors regardless of weather or season.

Here are some favorites from the Senior session including the image that will make it to the Senior year book.
