This Family of Four love going to Castle Island and Fort Independence so it seemed right that This would be the location for their family portrait session. Watching the planes as they get ready to land at Logan Airport and watching the Holland America Cruise line pass by the Boston Harbor were just some of the fun activities we enjoyed during their family session to top it all we ended the session watching the sunset and Boston Skyline from Carson’s Beach followed by icecream from Sullivan’s at Castle Island.Read More
I love watching families grow. Its amazing how time flies. Photographing families over a period of time is a great reminder of how we freeze moments in time when we get our portraits done.
The last family portrait I took for this family the little girl was about 2 years old she had just learned how to walk and the world was an oyster amazing growth happens in 1 year to see more from their last session see below for some portraits from that session. During their family maternity portrait session it was too cold and she just wouldnt have it so she wasn't part of the maternity portraits though nonetheless she braced me with her spunky personality.
At just alittle over 3 years she couldn't wait to show off her baby brother who she completely adores and is proud to ensure that he too shall follow in her footsteps.
This session took place at their family home and theres no better place than home to capture a family's addition.
During their portrait planning session we planned out their outfits and settled on a time and location for the portrait session and while we toyed with the idea of doing the session offsite we decided to have the session at home since it would be easier for mom with an infant.

It was a perfect day for this Gorgeous Family Session set in the beautiful late spring early summer gardens at Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate Canton. As the days are longer children are almost out of school the little ones couldn't wait to get out and enjoy playing outside in the beautiful gardens filled with flowers. In Full Bloom is Alliums both in Green and Purple, Purple Riot and Blue Summer Snap Dragon. The family was dressed to match the colorful blooming floraRead More
The mom of this awesome family initially wanted the session on their yard however when you have teenage girls their opinion matters and they had envisioned something different. After brainstorming we settled for a beautiful gem. I loved dreaming with her and building on her vision. The combination of 2 young women their mom boats and the beautiful historic bridge at Regatta Point Park and Lake Quinsigamond Worcester provides made for a pretty awesome session!
After some discussion of location we settled on Regatta Point Community Sailing. This Community was Founded in 1960 with one simple goal- to bring "Boating for All" to greater Worcester. I love the character of the building both from the beach as well as once you step inside.
I love the wardrobe that Dorothy picked out for her family. It’s well-coordinated with just the right amount of neutrals mixed with pops of color. Nicely done!
We of course wrapped up the session with the girls enjoying each others company. I love candid's and this type of session definitely offers plenty of opportunity to capture much spontaneous sweetness.

While the weather has been unseasonably cool well actually cold this family didn't let that stop them. The lighting was absolutely beautiful and while late fall we run into the challenge of the temperature being too cool, the background is absolutely gorgeous due to the Foliage. Naturally with a 3 month old we took the rest of the session inside so she could keep warm. The best part of the session was the smiles i got from this 3 month old.
What a beautiful Fall day for a family session at The Bradley Estate in Canton. The Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate is Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate is an elegant former estate with beautiful gardens and great hiking opportunities surrounding fields, pastures, Beautiful Formal Garden and a great place to enjoy some quite time in nature with your family and picturesque backdrop for your professional family pictures.
In the fall the Estate has a beautiful backdrop with varying scenes. This is one of Seraphine Photography’s favorite locations to photograph family pictures.
Fall Foliage slowly starting to peak and I am so in love with all of the turning leaves here! I was really excited to meet and photograph this family having photographed the youngest several times once for a sitter milestone session then his one year birthday portraits it was definitely a treat to see his Sweet face again. His sisters are just as delightful and the absolutely adore their baby brother. The girls enjoyed running and playing at the estate and later enjoyed the sunset while allowing their parents to get a moment to have the parents get some couple portraits taken. Taking time to photograph parents on their own is really important part of our family portrait session as this gives a couple afew moments to reminisce on when they were just the two of them and incorporate their relationship to their family portraits.
