When photographing young children outdoors, I like to let them run around and interact with their parents so I can capture them in the stage they are. When photographing children indoors or in studio I find that interacting with them always helps them ease into the session. Milestones and birthdays are always a great time to get portraits of your children taken as it captures children at each stage. Birthday sessions could be a typical session, a fun session such as glitter or painting session or a cake smash session for the younger children. Milestones such as sitting, walking, getting braces or having them taken out are important milestones that deserve to be preserved. Other milestones such as Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, reaching the Preteen years, Graduation are important phases that call for photographing. As a Randolph Children and Family Photographer I recognize the importance of this moments in your life and remind you to preserve them. Remember the Days are long but the years are short.
